No matter who writes them, the whole idea of the Common Core -- one-size-fits-all, top-down approach to education, enforced via high-stakes testing and implemented by teaching to the test -- is a bad idea.

I've done some research tonight and this is what I have found.  The following quote is EXTREMELY vague.  This is where the concern is:

The way I read it is that a student that lives in a county will receive the entire allocated funds for that student, for example if it costs $8000 a year per pupil in the county the charter school will receive the $8,000, not the traditional system.
