Investigators from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department made arrests in separate murders in southwest Orange County that happened a day apart.
On Sunday evening, investigators arrested Eric Jermain Bradshaw, 31, of 8015 Sanberg Lane in Chapel Hill and charged him with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Juan Young of Chatham County.

According to reports, the two had been involved in an argument at a house on Butler Road near the White Cross community.

On Monday evening, Steve Ramirez, 30, of 2120 Gemena Road, and Ronnie Ramirez, 24, who has the same address, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Jerrod Harris who was found dead on the back porch of the Ramirez residence.

And the beat goes on...this is a true marker for the times we live in...what a shame and a waste...so young and so preventable.

Tip:  If you absolutely, positively have to kill someone, don't leave their corpse on your back porch.

Please watch what is said here.  One of these victims was the  father of a student in our system.  Be respectful please. No matter the circumstance, a child has lost their parent.

My thoughts go to the family.  My statement was made in contempt of the murderers, not to disparage the dead or their loved ones.  I do apologize if my careless words caused further emotional injury to the bereaved.
