these signs definitely aren't raggedy, but what do they mean?

These are bean bag toss games that the children attending the Tea Party enjoyed. The kids had a blast and it was free. It's a joke on the folks whose faces are painted on the games because "Put a sock in it" means "be quiet".  Toss the bean bag (sock) into the mouth of the Politician.  Get it?

oh... i thought the "tea baggers" were just patriots not just republicans, but all those "politicians" are democrats so that clears that up at least. but it must have been a lots of fun and educational for those kids. Throw things at those you disagree with and the elected majority should just shut up. I've even learned a thing or 2 myself, thanks for the thoughtful reply.

Well Clyde,  You seem to enjoy throwing insults at everyone you disagree with.  I sure am glad you and others like you are so tolerant of other's opinions.  Huh

I'm sorry you don't think the Tea Parties are not politically correct.  That makes me know that we are on the right track.

i personally don't think "republican" should be considered an insult, but that's just one man's opinion. but just to be clear, we shouldn't throw insults at those we disagree with we should throw bean bags at them... am i close? i'd be interested in knowing what the adults were saying to the kids to encourage them to hit those big mouthed democrat party leaders in the mouth, good fun for all!

People who tape teabags to their heads and mill around in the hot sun carrying raggedy, meaningless signs invite ridicule.

I was there yesterday and I did not see one person with a tea bag on their forehead, or any raggedy signs.

Please show some proof of this ridiculous statement.

Calling a person a republican is not an insult... calling them "tea-baggers" is.  Calling a person a conservative is not an insult either, but apparently calling a person a liberal is an insult.... they prefer you call them progressive.

that's so informative, thanks! apparently throwing a bean bag can be considered an insult as well, but i guess the insult is really a mindset of the person holding the beanbag. but i still think it's a great lesson for kids, conservative kids especially. who needs information when you've got ammunition and a cute target... by cute of course i mean a vile hated democrat/liberal/progressive

Bean bags.. you are worried about bean bags? Yes, Conservative kids hear their parents talk and pick up on their opinions and formulate their own. Liberal kids have their parents ideas in their heads too. What if the bean bag game had Bush and Cheney, you would enjoy that wouldn't you.
