Now that there is so much corn around.. I was just curious.
Also, any favorite toppings? I grew up with butter, salt and pepper. I have now expanded into the realms of mayo, hot sauce, etc. I like them all!

... mayo...

I'm trying to imagine how that would taste. As good as mayo on broccoli?

Yummm mayo on corn is yummy!

I have a friend who puts milk and mayo and something else I can't remember on it then folds the husk back on and grills.  That was great corn too.  Wish I could remember what that something else was...  Maybe someone here will know.

Try mayo and parmesan cheese!! Yum!!! Pull husk back and spread a mixture of mayo & parmesan, then pull husk back down and throw on the grill turning every few minutes. Of course just butter, salt & pepper is great after boiling the corn. It's been a great corn year in my garden. Actually it's been a good year for all of my veggies, except I can't get rid of those pesty squash bugs. Nothing kills them except mashing them!!

I try to eat corn like Huey, Dewey and Lewey do, like a typewriter rolls.

Fresh corn is AWESOME!

I use 1 tblsp of dish detergent mixed with a gal of water. Then you have to keep squirting them.  They like to hide on you, so make sure to move the leaves around so you can get them.  I've been keeping their numbers down that way. We did well with all our veggies, except the worms on the broccoli, and the dang Japs got after the green beans.

Back when I lived in the big city, guys used to come around with pushcarts selling "elotes" with mayo, parmisan and paprika.  I never got into it.  Butter, salt, pepper.

Dazey, you scared me. I thought you were talking about how to season the corn. Yikes.

Butter/Salt here. I like to be able to taste the sweet fresh corn and sometimes don't dress it up with anything.
I'm not a mayo fan, so I'd never mess up my corn with that!

Not a mayo fan either, but these combos are making my mouth water....going to have to try them, for sure!  I've never heard of mayo on corn - is it regional??  Usually just butter/salt/pepper for me.

Not to say I wouldn't try some cheese or paprika or garlic seasoning or some combo, but the mayo thing is just not for me. Each to their own...I love my sweet corn unmasked mostly

As far as I know, the mayo thing is Mexican.  At least that's where the pushcart vendors were from.  They also sold mangoes on a stick with lime and pepper.
