if transit is such a bad option then why don't u drive your kids to school? i have no kids and my funds support a lot of transit for k-12 in this county. maybe you should crunch those numbers too

My wife drops my daughter off in the morning and I pick her up in the afternoon.

School buses are also usually filled to capacity and if not bus routes are reorganized.

Carbon footprints are just another way for the left to decrease industry and to tax the populace.

you are a good Daddy. if she cannot walk, she should not be exposed to the horrors of the school bus.

We make these decisions because we can.  I know that everyone does not have that option.  But as SK said above, school buses are full, not 5 people.

that's funny-i guess when it comes to carbon footprints their are only left feet--r u claiming homo sapiens have zero impact on this planet? even u must know that cannot be true.

as for the school bus how much do i pay in taxes if the buses have to drive hither and yon to pick up kids i did not make? many made because of policies that do not teach safe sex and protection living in a sprawled out county cause u do not like rational growth policies? does your calculator do that math too? heh-just legalize it and tax it and u can save money in the justice system prison system and health care system

They say smoking pot causes infertility. Pot smoke also is a cause of pollution.

School bus transportation is a whole different animal.

And in fact there have been numbers crunched that show that school buses are an effective and efficeint means of transportation.

If I can dig up one of the reports I found I will post on the bulletin board.
