Mercy, had a woman race in today with a child, concerned about the child consuming some plant material and wondering if it could have been poisonous!
Anytime anyone has such concerns, please call the NC Regional Poison Control Center at 1-800-848-6946 ASAP.
Or go to a medical facility.
Don't load your child up in a stroller and go hunting for garden centers to advise on such possible medical emergency inquiries!

did this woman not have a pediatrician? how old a child? that is strange. I'm glad one of you knew how to read a phone book. really.

to be fair, Mommas in panic need comfort. maybe she had other things that made her seek the comfort of strangers. I am glad you were there for her.

INFANT, the sister brought in some flowers and the younger child ate some of it...a mangled sample brought in, but being in the business that we are in, we have the contact info for people and gave that out to this person. It just also triggered a thought line for me to post that info here as well.
Anyone with any concern of poisonous consumption should call that number or go to a Dr. immediately and why I posted this.
