I am with SBB....

I live a mile out of town with a Pittsboro address and do a lot in town. I will push for the candidate I like because it affects the town that I spend my time and money in and whose post office serves me.

Mary-
Seems like a wise assessment on your part. Why would you want someone in office who is not concerned for the town AND county?  (They are linked in many ways.)

I would like to have a mayor that is not using the job as a stepping stone to get to the State Senate or House.

So do you feel that all politicians who move on to higher office are bad?

Why do you think the mayor is doing so? (trying to get to a higher office, that is?). Can you provide specifics on that goal? Neither here nor there really for me, I am out of the "circle city" limits and have no vote, be it he hoping to be mayor or beyond. Just curious as to how you came about that conclusion.

I just looked up Mayor Voller's web site and these are the current endorsements:

http://www.randyvoller.com/Re-elect/Endorsements.html

Fine. So who are his opponents endorsements? Obviously none of the three running for town board endorse him because they have endorsed Voller so who is endorsing the opponent?

Also, I assume Wolfpack fan meant that he is the perfect Mayoral candidate because he ran in 2007 and all Mayors should be like him.  Grin

Answer my question from earlier and then I will answer yours.

OK, now I have done so in great detail.

I don't know what Voller's intentions are, but wouldn't you say the vast majority of politicians in higher office start out in some lower office first?

Well what would your intentions have been had you been victorious? And exactly what could a Mayor run for that would make sense?

IT-to quote Ronnie Reagan: "there you go again..."

There is nothing in the record that I could find stating anyone's intentions yet you throw it against the wall again---you and Linda should make that date soon for a trip to the islands.  Grin
