Yup, a loaded gun around is an issue, I do carry a billy club.

I heard that the low lifes walked all the way up and down the road and broke into numerous cars stealing a GPS, purse, musical instruments and a make up case. People were finding stuff from their cars in their yards all day They probably tried my cars but they were all locked.

that tells me they were worried about noise. not armed, maybe neighbors, even. motion detector lights, dogs and an open window might help. I hate a thief.

I am glad no one was hurt leaving the church...a few years back...Keith and I were going to Cole Park via Lystra Church Road and a woman jumped out into the road and flagged us down with a tale of her mother dying in a hospital in Greensboro..she needed gas money and we put her in our car and carried her to Cole Park to help her...needless to say...we were fooled...someone who worked for me at the time recognized her as a junkie...but only after Keith had given her $40 for gas and food...well that was my big lesson and his too...when I think of it and realize what could have happened ...I am grateful for my Guardian Angels.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME............$40.00...............FOR GAS AND FOOD? HOW ABOUT FOR TWO CRACK ROCKS, THATS WHY THEY DO THIS STUFF, BECAUSE THEY KNOW PEOPLE WILL GIVE IT TO THEM......WOW

As I said ChathamRedneck that was a few years back maybe 2000....I was naive at the time about the drug situation in Chatham...however I have since learned my lesson well...someone jumps out in front of my car and I will try to avoid hitting them but no more money and no more rides....my husband and I were lucky not to have been hurt or killed by a crack head.  Live and learn...or die tragically
