This evening a few minutes after 6 pm, I was waiting in line to check out at the Piggly Wiggly in Pittsboro.  The guy that was bagging the groceries yelled for everybody to look out toward the road.  Swear to goodness, a guy (or maybe a gal) dressed as a CHICKEN was riding down the sidewalk on a bicycle!!!!

Did anyone else get a gander at the chicken-rider???

I saw the bicycling chicken at the courthouse circle.  I think there was some sort of "bicycle -in" (like a sit-in) going on to raise awareness of bikes on the road.

I saw it. That was me at the ATM when the chicken guy rode by.

I'm grateful for this site so I can get the lowdown on nuts like these when I see them.
