You have the issue of Lyle renting space from Randy Voller and trying to illegally register to vote.

You have the backlash over the plenty when a local business would not take it.

And now you have them yelling at a church group trying to feed hungry people over peanut oil.

As someone else said, I thought hippies were supposed to friendly.

I am not sure why it is always them but a lot of them are very zeolous about their vision and if you are on the extreme of something it blinds you and makes you angry at anyone who does not see things like you do.

All of them are also very young and it seems no one has taught them manners or how to gently educate people. They need to learn each to his own.

Correction - Lyle DID illegally register to vote. And he got away with it. Guess you have to have friends in the right places to get away with voter fraud.

All of them are also vey young
According to wikipedia, Lyle Estill was born in 1962 - I don't think that makes him "young" (said as someone born in 1961).

From what I know these are all different groups of people, i.e. farmers, biofuels workers, etc. and to the extent that a few people can have interactions that create "controversy" says a lot about all parties including folks who want to create false narratives.

A secondhand story was posted regarding one or two people who are part of a much larger community.  I asked friends I know who attend St. Barts events on Thursday and no one recalls anyone being reduced to tears so who knows the truth? And really shouldn't this situation be a learning lesson between those parties anyway?

Ms. Books,
You need to stop beating a dead horse and get your facts straight: from my understanding the board of elections never allowed him to change his registration and held a meeting over two years ago to rule on situations just like his.  Your only motivation here is to smear. Why? Does it make you feel any better? Are you making the town and county a better and more attractive place by attacking a local business? What is your motivation?

Funny. Heard the same kind of rationale when Matt confronted Angelina about the Plenty.

These people don't get it. They can't even conceive that they have done anything wrong.

I didn't think it was "them" yelling at a church volunteer, I thought it was an individual?

We probably don't need to lump them all in together. I'm sure there are people working there who think it is terrible to yell at church volunteers.

I just wanted to clarify because this is how rumors get started. next thing you know the story will be that Lyle organized a protest about peanut oil and had all his workers march down there to make the church ladies cry!

The people who work the lunch are only a handful of members and not everyone who goes there knows what is going on. It was not broadcasted to the rest of the congregation. My husband and three others saw this happen and he knows the person is from the biofuels as he has stated so before as he eats there all the time. I do not want to divulge the volunteers name as she is a private, shy person. I am not saying the whole bunch is bad but this should not have happened.

Without photographic and voice recorded proof, Butterbean and friends will continue to deny this event took place.  It is just the nature of the Randy group.  A lot of things never were said, or were misheard, or flat never have happened in past.

You are right, just like Matt denying he threatened to boycott Antionellas for not taking the Plenty when he said on the Chatlist " I will never go there again". I asked him what he thought that meant and got no answer. I was also at Pittsboro Feed and heard Lyle practillay brow beat them into taking the Plenty. I guess they are above and beyond.
