You're very, very harsh towards him. I'm convinced that it's pure jealousy. Integrity ticket's realization of his own impotence compared to Voller's magnanimosity causes him to be insanely jealous. He can't control himself sometimes, and comes off as a rambling fool, so narrow minded that his main contention against Voller is that he's, well, Voller. I have not commented on ALL Voller detractors. I am only commenting on the jealous, bitter likes of you and IT. I don't think that anyone has mistaken you for being an effective Mayor, and this makes you unable to see through your envy to realize all the good that Mayor Voller has done for this town. I"m sorry for that, because I'm sure you probably could really do a lot to help if you could see through those green shades of envy. |

The only time I wear shades is when I am out talking to the people of Pittsboro. I have spoken with business owners that have said the bills were not paid, I have spoken with former business partners that feel they were cheated, I have talked with home owners in Chatham Forest that felt they were lied to, I have seen the late tax payments, I have seen the rejected attempt to illegally register and then a bad attempt to mislead people. Who have you talked to? |

If those are the only views you've heard, then I suspect that you have made the effort to only speak to those who have the same opinion as you. Again, I hate that you are so blinded that you have totally subverted the spirit of cooperation. You could likely to some good for this town if you weren't so busy sniffing your own butt.

Really? Which former business partners have you talked to? And which local business owners have you spoken with about overdue bills? It is a shame, that like so many Voller supporters, it does not take more than a couple of post to get something like "sniffing your own butt". |

That's a very sad commentary on the political intellect of this county then. What happens on here is a bunch of people taking potshots at each other on the lowest level possible. Name-calling, personal digs, unprofessional and rude behavior.
I don't find it entertaining, I find it repulsive. And as others have already said, it's really embarrassing for the county to see all of this bile and vitriol slung around on a public forum for anyone to read.
I've been completely underwhelmed by the "level of political discourse" on here. How hard is it to call people names and insult them instead of rising to intelligent discussion? That's right, it's not hard at all, and that is why some of these people are resorting to such despicable behavior.
Like my mama (God rest her soul) used to say, "Once you resort to name-calling and insults, you've lost the argument."
