My family and I attended on Saturday night... probably 'round 10:00.  The moon was full and the air was crisp and clear... a perfect Fall evening.  The display of carved jack-o-lanterns is really something to behold.   Strolling the bridge with my family is probably the single coolest thing I have ever done on Halloween, and hopefully a new tradition for us.  I brought a camera, but opted to live in the moment (rather than get frustrated trying to figure out how to take decent pictures of the lit jack-o-lanterns in the dark).  I have tried to describe the event to friends, but its one of those things that has to be experienced to be appreciated.  Maybe a few pictures would have been helpful after all?  :-)

Darnit, why do I never learn about cool traditions like this until they are over for the year?  Hopefully can remember this for next year.

I took some photos and I saw some great ones someone else took on Facebook.

Here's a link to mine. If you copy and paste into the address line, I think it'll work. Hope the other person will also post a link for you.

Darn. Sorry the link didn't work. I'll try something else--probably not until tomorrow.

I haven't figured out how to put photos on the bulletin board. Who can instruct me?
