Yesterday afternoon, it was at 3.25, this afternoon it had overflowed (holds 5.25 inches).  So I emptied and see where it goes from here.  I know the Haw River on 64 was looking pretty angry today.

Sorry seavey Wink

I've spent today wishing the temps would drop another15 or so.  I'd love some snow!

These winds are quite cold and cut right through me when I walk Petey and our visiting Grand Doggy, Harrison Ford.

yeah, we wish. this will wash more gunk into it. and the idiot planned causeway blockages will not drain any faster. the drainage points are no bigger than they were 10 years ago.

And I have always have been in favor of watershed protections, but that has been tossed out over and over again.
Slow trickle of gunk that remains? Or these flushing events that hopefully moves it on along? Are these our choices now?

Thursday evening there as another .25 of an inch in the gauge.

So we had at least 5.25 inches of rain this week.

Later,

I'm ready to see the sunshine gauge!
Boy did this leave a mess of pine needles and other tree trash around the yard to have to clean up!
