Wilsonmusic:  Hubby says the device is made by Oregon Scientific and that a quick google on that brand should pull up what you're looking for.

We lost a big dead pine in the front yard.  Sounded like a gun shot!  It took off a piece of the gutter and a dogwood limb.  Not that I'm complaining.  Another 6 inces and it would have taken off a piece of the dining room!

I know that sound Seavey. During Fran I had pines going every which away! Like you, I got "glazed" and no heavy hit, and believe me that was a miracle with as many as I had to come down!

A couple down here on the southside too.  Each time it rains like this, I remember that it's less money I'll fork over for clearing a few acres - Mother Nature seems to be taking care of it.

One near the house however, I'm awaiting that gun shot sound....

Got home this evening and checked the rain gauge.  We had another two inches of rain in about 10 hours today.  Four inches total.

Does 2 inches of water in the trash can under the leak count as a rain guage?

I checked the rain gauge again this morning and it had another inch!  That is at least 5 inches of rain since this all started.

Its a bit wet outside.  The lake is almost full this morning.   Grin
