Northwood Wrestling Team WON defeating rival Chatham Central High 11/18

The Charger wrestling team won in dramatic fashion defeating cross county rival Chatham Central High School 54-30 Thursday night here at Northwood High School.  The Charger wrestlers recorded 8 pins for the duals match.  A great Chargers' crowd was on hand to support the wrestling team as it opened its season 1-0 Thursday night.  Individual results from the match are forthcoming later in the weekend or on Monday.  Congrats to Coach Amy and the Charger wrestlers!

Wrestling season is in full swing and the team is performing exceptionally well.  We recorded 8 pins on Thurs. against Chatham Central and won 54-30. ( 12 points the Bears earned were from forfeits at 145 and 152).  On Sat. the Charger wrestlers were at Glenn High School and placed 7th out of 14 teams that hosted very good wrestlers.  Alex Engle placed 2nd at 135 and Josh Dubois placed 3rd at 171.
