I got a question Why does Clyde go around making "animals" out of tree logs? I don't remember buying one, but I got one in my yard. LOL "Merry Christmas you take care of this tree hog, dog, heffalump!"

Too bad you live on the wrong side of the county  remember that on your commute. I live 20 minutes from Morrisviile. Me too but it take me 30 min to go the next 2 miles once I get there. And as for Gene: Gene, can you pick someone to establish a criteria for you to follow on your board?

The Clyde that posts on the Bulletin Board is not the Critter Crossing Clyde Jones. Clyde lives in Bynum and is very simple in the way he lives. Does not have a computer or even a cell phone! You can google him. He has a web site that is maintained by one of his friends. Very interesting character, is known worldwide for his Critter Creations and children love him. He visits the schools in Chatham. If you ever get to Bynum and stop at his house, you can see letters, postcards on his porch from around the world from people who have visited him.

What does this mean? I can drink and drive then be release by writing a note that I promise not to do it again? I thought driving while impaired was much more serious than that. |

No, it is a legal term that has nothing to do with the offense one has been charged with. It has to do with you appearing for your trial. In determining conditions of pretrial release a judicial official must impose one of the following conditions: (1) Release the defendant on his written promise to appear. (2) Release the defendant upon his execution of an unsecured appearance bond in an amount specified by the judicial official. (3) Place the defendant in the custody of a designated person or organization agreeing to supervise him. (4) Require the execution of an appearance bond in a specified amount secured by a cash deposit of the full amount of the bond, by a mortgage pursuant to G.S. 58-74-5, or by at least one solvent surety. If condition (3) is imposed, however, the defendant may elect to execute an appearance bond under subdivision (4). The judicial official may also place restrictions on the travel, associations, conduct, or place of abode of the defendant as conditions of pretrial release. (NC Statutes GS 15A-534(a)) |
