Posting this for my son. His brindle Pit took off through the woods yesterday when he let her out and has not returned. She usually comes straight up to our house but not this time. She has a collar on, no tags, is Brindle colored, shy at first. Answers to Sugar. She is terribly missed. Please call 542-5776 if you see her.

Hope you find your pup! Ya'll are wearing me out worrying about lost dogs.
I have a lard butt cat that wouldn't think about venturing away from the food trough more than a few hours between naps laugh That includes a 3 AM snack call Angry

We're keeping an eye out for the missing dog. Hope she comes home soon.

Just got a call from our son, at 4:00am this morning his dog came knocking on his door after being gone for around two weeks. Skinny, wet, tired and cold, she ate a bowl of food then curled up in his lap and went to sleep. Thanks to all who kept an eye out for her.

Love happy endings....
I have heard of animals returning after long periods of time several times before.

kstraughn - a few weeks ago you told us all not to mess with stray, lost dogs and mind our own business. Now you ask for help finding your son's dog that took off???

Glad she returned.

keeping an eye out for her is different from taking an animal while they are headed back home.

Yes I did, and I still say leave them alone. Had someone left her alone she would have most likely been home that night. Instead she apparently had been picked up, escaped and found her way back home.
