I meant to post on here last week, but forgot about it. I thought Fiesta went out of business but after driving through I realized that they now are open for lunch every day and scraped part of the blackout off the window. They posted a menu in the window and I am curious if anyone has ventured yet.

We went to Torero's this past weekend and parked close to Fiesta's front door. I saw that menu you mentioned (mostly appetizers, maybe 7 of them). And I could see in, through to the other side. Looked pretty dark and empty inside.

We drove by it the other day and noticed the door was clear and you could see inside. Still not sure about eating there yet.

I stopped in yesterday and talked to the bartender for a bit. The "late night club" is over, hence the cleared windows. She said the owner wants the place to become a full fledged restaurant. They hope to have a lunch buffet open soon with a full dinner menu to follow.
I asked her about breakfast and was told that about 15 others had asked about it as well. No plans yet, but she, at least, understood the attraction of offering breakfast. We'll see. Stay tuned.

I honestly don't think so. The bartender had worked at Olive Branch and she was well aware of the folly of having another pizza/Italian place in that area. I remember talking to the Eagle folks soon after they opened about why the Huddle House wasn't built. They said the corporate folks didn't think it would work in that area. Someone with a little business sense and some saavy about this area could make a killing with a good restaurant. |

Wouldn't that be great to have like a Breadmen's style venue in that area? At this point, I am just glad to know the late night whatever was ditched...even though I know that cuts into your "show time" income  Sorry, I laughed so hard with that spill...your stage howl! |

Yeah, all those singles were starting to add up.
What's better is that others seem to want a better breakfast option too. I don't do BK and driving to Pittsboro or Chapel Hill isn't always a good option for a sit-down breakfast place.

Sorry Becky's fun money came to a close Nah, the fast food breakfasts don't grab me either. Same here, driving to PBO, CHill etc. also doesn't occur often anymore for the sit down breakfast. Do it at home instead, which is good, but it's nice to venture out for such as well. I think it would fly in that spot. If they would offer something for other times of the day that is not a duplication of the existing venue (and be good food), then something could become successful there IMO. |

I agree Yip. I go to a place in Asheboro (Dixie) when I am in that area that is a meat and three (veggies) plate style (can get fancier if desire), that LINES them up out the door everyday. They have people come from other counties to dine there for a little outing and based on the fact the food is scrumptious and reasonable! |
