Yip, during the cold yesterday, I had opportunity to slip in alone and it felt like I was cheating on my wife, cause I ate someone else's pork chops and gravy.  It sure was good.  I told them they could have brought me an IV bag of that good gravy and pump that stuff right into my vein.

I guess you could say I have become a fan.

I found out they do a little catering too.  They are nice folks to visit with, and not that this is how I personally judge a restaurant, but they appear to clean constantly.  The owner(wife part of the team) cleaned the whole time I was there, unobtrusively of course, but she was a little whirlwind, busy in every room and corner.  The two major selling points for me, were the fantastic food, and the friendly, helpful staff.  Those things make a dining experience pleasant and worth the money. Which, is less than one would think.  I had two boneless, chicken fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy on the mashed AND the chops, and green beans, as well as about 3 cups of coffee, and paid about ten bucks, total, I think.  I have to restrain myself when I go in....they might think I was a little nutty if I hugged them for feeding me like I was family.  They have a private parking lot out back too. So, one does not have to brave the busy street parking.  Of course you know me, I will likely eventually find something to complain about, but I cannot for the life of me imagine what it could be!   Wink

Yep there is nothing like taters and gravy to get the chill out of your bones...especially GOOD taters and gravy...and if I was in there when you came in I would hug you like family..if I could recognize you...cause only family would put up with your complaints  Wink Wink

Sorry I had to do that...I could not resist the temptation.  Shocked

Love, Pam
