I have just recently bought a house that has a grape vine. I need some help to know about caring for and pruning the vine. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I know nothing about plants.

This is a good guide from the Extension Agency on training/pruning grapes. Hope it will help.

Tap into your Extension Agency in Chatham if you have any questions. Al Cooke is great!

First of all know what kind of grape you have. Bunch grapes take a little different pruning than our native muscadine varieties. Call Al Cooke at the extension office. He has brochures about everything!
