So Randy is back.  Fine. Whatever.

But he has immediately clogged the boards with numerous new threads.  Excessive posting of things on his blog I believe.

Please, can we get an ignore feature so that I can read the boards with out having to sort through all his posts?

Thanks you.

There is a compatible modification available for this board's software: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2299

Is he really causing you this much of a headache?  I just look through the topic titles and who started them, and keep on moving.

I do the same for original posts. However when multiple threads are updated with the same videos or comments, it gets tedious. I would have been happy never to hear the term moonbat again.

Looks like a good solution if Gene is willing to add this feature.

Old School ignore still works the best.

Ignore is a good feature old or new. The peace was nice while it lasted.

It's annoying to have one person try to hog the boards.  I had hoped if he returned he would keep that in mind.  I would ask for this feature to avoid anyone who hogged the board.  It's rude and childlike to "demand" so much attention.

some people apparently see no difference between posts that are appropriate for a blog and posts that are appropriate for a general interest/local interest discussion group.  Please make the ignore feature available if it is possible.

Another feature I'd like to see is being able to vote thumbs up or thumbs down on any post.

I am aware of the feature. However, it works with the newest 2.0 RC2 version of this bulletin board. I am not willing to make the jump and upgrade to the newer version until it is in it's final release form and other mods I currently use her are updated as well.

I will take a look at Randy's posts and see if he is repeatedly posting the same thing on multiple threads.

I  have warmed him about this and other issues numerous times previously.

It appears that we may gotten to the point where these warnings are being ignored and a full-time suspension is in order.

Good thinking. It's probably best to wait until one or two incremental versions after 2.0 to be safe.

I would also like to have an ignore function. This is only the first 24 hours.
