Any improvement on Jack Bennett or any other roads?

Did the ice evaporate at all this afternoon or is there still a lot of it out there?

Thanks for any info.

It was mostly dry out there this afternoon SeeingAll Sides. Could be some areas still in the AM to watch for.

I am so thankful for all of this info - had our kids to deliver to down ASR to PHS this AM and then had to head back up Manns to drop off the preschooler. Hubby said it was bad. Called my client off of Jack Bennett Rd after reading this and he came to pick me up so I didn't have to risk it!! By the time we headed back to his office there was sand poured all over Jack Bennett and my client said it wasn't there when he left just 15 minutes prior. Maybe someone at the county is reading the BBS Wink

Glad we all had a safe day!!

It looked very innocent early morning. Just rain. The bus arrived to pick up kids next door and I had checked outdoors and it was just wet. Less than an hour later it was glazed over. These back country roads freeze fast, as the asphalt isn't as thick a major roadways and are more shaded.
I hope no serious injuries occurred in the accidents.

Husband said when he left this morning at 8-8:15ish that there was a school bus that had just been pulled out of the ditch on Hillside Dairy Rd just off of 64.  It was just 1/2 a mile or less from here though we didn't hear anything from it and we are fairly close to the road.  Crossed both lanes and into a cow fence.  Said no kids were seen.  Assuming the time, they must have already been picked up by another one?
