I've enjoyed the food at Angelina's Kitchen for quite some time. Only this week did I realize that many of her offerings are gluten free. This is important to me b/c my daughter-in-law and granddaughter are gluten intolerant. The falafel (chick pea patties) is absolutely delicious, as is the lentil soup, the spanakopita, cheese pie, Greek salad...you get the picture. Forgot to mention the superb Greek yogurt! Try it, you'll like it. Oops, forgot to mention the wonderful "toys" which come with the children's meals (all of the kids' meals are $4 or under, I believe). This week Teigan got a hand-made wooden toy, a duck. Another kids' toy is an origami crane on a stick! What a wonderful change from the plastic doo-dads which come with fast food meals at chain drive-ins. Can you tell I love Angelina's Kitchen? Oh, if you didn't see the article in last week's Chatham Record abut Abby Wilson/Abilicious Bakery, her breads are available there also, as are other homegrown offerings from people like Judy Hogan. (No, I'm not getting paid to say all this!)
