Chatham County Schools closed tomorrow

Delays remain a possibility for the remainder of the week. Friday morning we may see more frozen precipitation. This week won't be an entire wash in terms of attendance, but the children aren't likely to have much time for education.

Delayed 2 Hours Thursday....

Wise call on the two hour delay. Plow hit the road in front of my home sometime after 1 PM today, when I returned home just now there was still a stretch of hard packed ice they couldn't break through! Over a large pipe and stream area. We call it the tundra zone
Plus run-off galore everywhere and upper 20's tonight. YAY, I'll have black ice finally
