If you have a dog, please give it a collar and an ID tag. They aren't expensive and can be made on the spot at vets, pet supply stores, etc.

If your friends or neighbors have a dog without a tag, consider giving them one. Sure, it should be their responsibility but it would be a nice gesture (and a gentle nudge to do right by the dog).

I'm hoping both basset mixes are safe and sound back at home by now. Or soon.
