i have seen the bulbs coming up, but no actual flowers yet... not sure why they are coming up, doesn't seem like we have had warm enough weather for them to come up.

I live in Pittsboro, and mine were showing before the first of the year. They are now about five inches tall and have lots of buds, which are swelling but are still pointing straight up, i.e., they have not dropped to the right angle like they do just before they open. I have several types. All are "rescues" so I have no idea what varieties they are - except old and hearty.

Blades but no buds showing yet. The snow lays a long time on my property, so maybe they are being sensible about not popping out too early Anyone heard of another blast of snow forecasted in next while? Someone mentioned one to me today, so I did go into a 15 day forecaster and sure enough not this coming week, but the next week, 2 events. ARGHHHH! I will wait for the dopplar bones and sinuses to report more accurately as time approaches!

Belle, my crocuses are in sheltered sunny spots, all southern exposures. The flowering apricots (Prunus mume) are sited variously. The happiest one is against my garage facing south, well protected from north winds. But even the one exposed to winter winds is blooming robustly now. They often bloom in December during milder winters.
No blooming daffodils for me yet, but they're getting closer.

A nice little warm up over the week-end will help get things popping up! Even the new growth in my Hellebores are late coming out this year. It is beautiful out there right now, especially in the sun. Heading out shortly to take advantage of it.

Was over at Northwood HS earlier today and the "peepers" (frogs) along a boggy section of the creek were raising a ruckus... a sure sign of Spring, even though it hasn't felt like it until only recently.

Sometimes the peepers have to wear glasses(ice).
