Toano company acquires North Carolina golf courses

James City County - Toano-based Traditional Golf Properties purchased The Golf Club at Brickshire in Providence Forge, located between Williamsburg and Richmond.

The transaction includes three North Carolina golf courses from Bluegreen Golf — The Golf Club of Chapel Ridge in Pittsboro, The Preserve at Jordan Lake in Pittsboro and Carolina National Golf Club in Bolivia.

Traditional Golf Properties will begin operating these courses, which are open to the public and offer membership programs.

That boosts the company's portfolio to 11 mid-Atlantic golf courses.

Brickshire will become part of Traditional's multi-course membership program that includes Stonehouse in Toano and Kiskiack in Williamsburg.

They are offering a great deal on new memberships $150/per month with no initiation fee ($5000 when I joined).  Ask about prepaying the year for $135 per  month

Rumor is this deal got the 2 clubs 100 new members.   Last year I think they had a net loss of members.   Anyway I just got an email the deal ends:

"$0 Initiation Fee Offer Ending February 28.
Get In While You Can! "
