Is there an office to do this, or is Siler City the closest?

If you live in NE Chatham, it may be closer to go to the one off 54 in Carrboro in the Food Lion plaza over by the ABC store.

I find Siler to be quick in/out (and I live in NE now) and went there instead of Carrboro. Last time in CBO was
a long wait time, but then again, I had other business in Siler that I combined the license renewal task with.

Thanks, all.  I ended up going to Siler City and I think it took less than 5 minutes total to do a renewal! The trooper literally opened the door as I walked up and in/out I went.

Siler used to be a real pain to go to, but since a large portion of the hispanic population left the area it's gotten much easier

Nice, seitaer.

Nice or not nice, a fact is a fact. Took our son there to get his first drivers license back the week before NC started enforcing the new identification laws, there were at least a hundred people in line. He decided a drivers license wasn't worth it, he waited till the next week.
