Some time back, there was information on the BBS about donating left over prescription meds to help people who need them. Can someone remind me of the organization that collects the meds? Thanks.

Contact CARES Community Pharmacy on Village Lake Road in Siler City. Phone number is 919-663-0177. I think it is run by the County Health Department.

There will also be a "prescription drug turn in" at Kerr Drug in Pittsboro on Friday March 19th. This is sponsored by law organizations including Pittsboro PD to prevent kids from using them as addicted drugs. You can bring prescription or over the counter drugs that have been outdated or no longer used and they will be transported to the SBI for proper disposal.

Help keep kids off drugs!!
