just got the phone call and email about 2-hour delay.  Good decision to keep buses off roads in the dark before they can assess what happens overnight in the light.

we just drove from pittsboro to siler city@11 pm and pittsboro wasnt too bad.but getting halfway to siler was undriveable.loads of cars in the ditches.the roads are covered and at least an inch and a half on the roadway.2 inches here on the grass here on alston bridge.wouldnt be surprised if no school tomorrow.everyone be safe!!

amazing..  we only have an inch on the deck and the roads are completely clear.  we live off Manns Chapel in North Chatham (not far from Cole Park).

It would almost make sense to open some schools and keep others closed in this situation. Superintendent Logan has a hard decision to make.

should be hearing something soon.  Don't the buses normally get on the roads at 5 something?  So they should be heading out at 7 something with the 2-hour delay....

if siler city has 10 inches, they are going to have little spring break left as they will be out for the rest of the week.....
