As I promised, I have created a new Chatham County forum, called the "Chatham County Chatterbox." It will be available at chathamchatterbox.com when it's ready to go. I've got the software set up and going great; what I need now is suggestions from you, the people who will be using these forums. What kind of sub-forums would you like to see? What kind of rules would you like put in place? Give me some suggestions. If you don't want to post suggestions here, there is an anonymous suggestion box on the website. Thanks for your support. 1. this BBS is for all things Chatham. Siler City is in Chatham. it is not like cheating on a spouse, exactly. we can set up new accounts there with fake personnas! oh, wait... |

best of luck on your new endeavor, and since I live closer to Siler than Pittsboro I'm interested in keeping up with the Siler activies, but IMO it is kinda slack to promote it here

Well now I'm kind of stuck with it; turns out I can't delete the thread at all, so I'm not really sure how I can un-ring the bell. you can change the thread title, and modify the message to, say, telling jokes, or making life changing observations, or something like that. I have done that before. |

I think it is a good idea to always expand the conversation. Especially in a county where communication vehicles are limited. I also don't think it is in poor taste to incubate new ideas on this board. Afterall, there are many lurkers that would most likely prefer a more positive conversation, rather than hit this board time after time after time after time, only to receive constant sniping and complaints ... including those already received on this string. Maybe the lurkers would prefer a more positive forum, and leave the constant complainers to remain here to chew at each other ...  |
