Mens' Golf Team Finishes Second in Tuesday Match 3.9.10

The golf team competed in their second match yesterday at Quarry Hills in Graham. The Chargers, with a team total of 164, finished in second, six shots behind Cardinal Gibbons (158) and eleven shots ahead of third place Carrboro (175). The team was led by Senior Justin Marcinkiewicz who fired a second place individual nine hole total of 39. Senior Travis Dice and Freshman Jordan McClamroch each posted totals of 41, while Senior Philip Brooks was the anchor man with a solid nine hole total of 43. The Charger Golf team begins conference play on Monday when they host the entire conference at Chapel Ridge. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30. Come out and support the team as they begin their quest for a conference championship.
