*Upcoming Saturday Science Mini-Camp *
*When*: Saturday, March 27th
*Time*: 10 am to 3 pm
*Place*: Woods Charter School
*Who*: Science-minded students from grades 4 through 7, limited to 16
students (non-Woods Charter students also welcome)
*Cost*: $30 per Woods Charter student or sibling, $40 per non-Woods Charter
students (all proceeds to go to 8th grade fundraising)
*Camp description*: Students will explore a variety of science topics
including optics, light, waves, food chemistry, and physics, all presented
in kids-friendly way. The camp will incorporate many interactive
activities, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Each student will get
to take home a package of science gadgets. This camp will be led by
PhoebeShih, an 8th grade parent and a chemistry instructor.
