Please help us find our beloved indoor cat. We were on vacation when he escaped the pet sitter last Sunday and has been gone for a week. We have looked in every nook and corner we could find. He is part Siamese, cream color, 13 years old. He would probably be hiding as he is an indoor kitty and not used to being indoors. Jay Shambley/Hadley Mill Rd area. My daughter is heartbroken and misses him dearly. So please keep an eye out for him we really appreciate it. If you see him or catch him please call. 919-742-0876 Thank You

Good luck, just a note to help you have faith. My husband and I moved to the Bennett area from Pittsboro. Our cat on the very first day broke out of a screen and headed for the woods. I thought he was gone forever and on day 8 he showed up out of the blue and he was an indoor kitty too. Their little feet put down scent markers so hopefully your little girl will get her pal back.

Best of luck to you in finding your cat Chatterbox. My heart goes out to you and your little girl. I had a dog stolen once and we were reunited after 7 LONG months. Keep the faith Post announcements (with photo if possible) in your area, in case kitter "adopted" a nearby occupied household in your absence.

A trick that worked for me once with an "escapee" was to spread some of his used kitty litter around the edges of the yard. After a week, he found his way back. We had just moved when he slipped out and took off on us.

His name is Jonah or JoJo. We are still searching for him. We've gone out at night with flashlights, left an outside door ajar and have been lent a have a heart trap. We put some yummy tuna in it and caught the neighbors cat. Maybe tonight..... There are some really nice people out there who have sent me a lot of tips and info along with some hope that JoJo may very well still be out there. To some of the volunteers for CARE thank you for the use of the trap and all of your knowledge. Thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts. I'll keep you posted.

WOW, what a beautiful cat. I know some folks that live out that direction and will give them the heads up to be on the lookout as well for JoJo with these pics and your contact info. Keep the faith!

Oh no. This is the first I'm seeing this. I'll certainly keep my eyes open. I haven't seen anyone different in our group at feeding time.

Great news! Jo kitty sighting...we found him but cannot catch him. We have two traps set hoping the tuna will do the trick. Can't believe it after 6 weeks missing. Thank you again to the kitty girls that volunteer for CARE. I'll keep you posted.

That is great news, chatterbox. Good luck with trapping him: I have had to trap a cat and know it can be difficult.
