The purpose of NORTH CAROLINA SMALL TOWN ECONOMIC PROSPERITY (NC STEP) program is to support economic recovery and revitalization in Siler City by utilizing a $25,000 planning grant and a $100,000 implementation grant.

The NC STEP COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP TEAM is recruiting additional members to help create a shared vision for Siler City. This shared vision and support of our members are the keys to our success. The NC STEP program is a bottom up approach which encourages upward planning by its citizens. We want to identify our sense of community by welcoming all ideas and thoughts. So everyone please come and join us for some food, fun, and fellowship!
