don't pharmaceutical companies require such things as adequate water supply and treatment?

isn't that a bit of a problem in Chatham Co.?

It depends where you are in the county.  Siler City has plenty of water and treatment capacity now.

It also depends on the size of the facility being proposed.

Yes, since the chicken plant folded that likely opened up some water/sewage capacity, plus the expansion of the reservoir (to accommodate the water shortages of the main water client  Smiley chickens).
Next step if Siler is to ever HOPE to attract anything, is to CLEAN UP the town.
Garbage, junk in yards, old sofas/recliners on the porch allowed  Huh Condemn and order to remove delapidated structures.
What respectable high wage paying business would want to subject employees to that? JMO.

I agreed Siler is a mess. There are plenty of empty retail and manufacturing facilities but who wants to locate in such a messy town.

Thank you very much,Silk.
Until the wake up call hits there, nothing will want to come there.
