On the cob, of course!
I like yellow much better than that "silver queen' stuff. I accidentally bough white corn - how can I make it taste good? (No i don't husk in the store - that's cheating and ruins the corn for everyone else)

Husking in the store is not cheating, it's just smart. Buying the wrong corn is the least of your worries; if you ever get home with a cob full of bugs I'm sure it will convert you into a store husker!

You don't need to do anything to white corn to make it taste good, it already does.
I always put copious amounts of butter and salt on my corn, white or yellow. Though generally white, and silver queen.

yuk - OK but yellow corn is the king - white corn does not come close (and I just ate both)

it may not be the white or yellow difference, it may be how long ago it was picked. It's best the first day or 2.

I always husk in the store. I had no idea I was bothering anyone. How does it ruin it for anyone else?

I won't buy corn at a grocery store anyway, but if it was husked or partially husked I wouldn't buy it.

Just don't pull the husks back and then leave it when you're at a Farmers' Market. That does ruin an ear for the farmer and the next buyer.

My point is that if you know how to feel up your corn, there is no need to pull back the covers. but agreed - nothing worse than a barrel full of semi-husked corn.

There's a new (well new to me) kind of variegated corn that my brother in law shared with us. Super sweet. Has anyone else tried it?
