I'm just saying that it would be more fair if everybody got to have their own adds.

You have your own ad - talk to google or doubleclick or or any ad agency.

I'll give you $1 if you can make it come up here.

I'll give you $5 if you can show me one that displayed in the last 5 years.

Ok, it seems to be a fact that only conservative or liberal ads appear on this bbs.

I just found that kind of interesting, as it took a while to notice.

That simply is not so.  The homosexual dating ads that were on here did not appear conservative in any way, and they may not have been political at all. They were likely driven from keywords in our debate on homosexual marriage.

Yes, much of our conversations does get political, so I can imagine that ads do get driven by those, and contain many political themes. But some of what appears here is simply neither left nor right. They are just advertisement.

The ad I see beside this as I am posting is for clear.com high speed internet. How political is that?

Look in th eNoah's ark section, there are healthcare ads running there, that I would NOT classify as conservative nor liberal, but just health related. It is obviously some sort of keyword programing that brings up the ads.

This morning it all seems to be Direct TV / Sunday Ticket advertising.

Clicked on it to see how much the Sunday Ticket package is. Can't really tell how much it is - $59.99 a month?

Looks like there are 4 different packages?

Anyone here have DirectTV and the Sunday Ticket package? Care to explain the pricing?

CHF, you have posted zero facts to dispute my claim. Did you read what I wrote or just start typing away? I said there are 2 ads that I see - neutral or conservative.

If you see an ad you think qualifies as liberal, go ahead and post it here. All you have to do is right click the image, copy the url, and post. I mean, it's so easy, even a conservative can do it.  Grin

"Ever notice that you ONLY see conservative ads on this BBS? "

I read the claim and have provided direct contradiction to it.  Did YOU read the subject that you started?

Actually no, your contradiction was simply a claim, as I have not seen the ad you are talking about. To move it up to a fact, you would actually have to post the image here using the method described above, or post another example of your claim. It is not that I don't believe you, I just want to see the actual evidence - from you or anyone else. Since nobody has posted any actual evidence thus far, it simply is not a fact.

I only see a blank post above if you are trying to post something.

I see no ads on any of the thread pages.  You dragging one into comments on this thread is not evidence that the ad exists anywhere else on the forum as a fact unless I can see it there myself.

See how that works?

Yes, you are right, you don't have any evidence either.

Yip, that is liberal logic if I ever heard it. China must not exist because I have not been there. It cannot be a fact, right? Lunacy at its best.

The BBS system is not allowing me to copy the location and place it within the thread. It just posts blank, so I guess you can continue to deny what everyone can see for themselves, but it proves nothing about what ads are being shown, and a great deal about you personally.

Can you really claim a grand conspiracy from everyone telling you the ads they are seeing?  Is not the word of two or three witnesses even accepted in courts of law?  But, not in the mind of Yippie? Really?

(The ad here on this page now is for home improvement)

h ttp://google ads.g.double click.net/page ad/ads?client=ca-pub-7560800026425022&f incomplete because it simply will not allow the whole link to be pasted here.

Yes, you are right, you don't have any evidence either.

Exactly.  But I have no reason do doubt that you see ads; why would you lie about them and what they are?

Some things have to be taken on someone's word.
