LOL!  Stop, willya. Lol.

These aren't found "in the wild" around here like turkeys; somebody either let 'em loose or they made their escape.

They're not hurting anything and we don't mind them being around; I just figured somebody might want them returned.

Are they noisy, or is that just the peacocks that make that obnoxious squawk?

Only the males make what you refer to as obnoxious squawks, mainly during the breeding season.
Personally,  I love to hear them holler but can understand  why some folks may not.    Wink
Worse thing about the free ranging peafowl is they LOVE to perch  on porches and vehicles  and leave random poop everywhere.   They also love to peer into windows and doors.   Peeping P's    laugh

We've been hearing some unusual woods-noises, so we figured it was the hens; maybe there are males too, somewhere.  Or maybe it's something else yet.

Peeping P's?  LOL.  They haven't perched anywhere yet, nor pooped in a disfavored place, but the neighbor tells me they chased after his cat, a-peckin'.
