NHSAEF is conducting a recycling fundraiser. There’s nothing to buy. We are simply asking you to protect the environment by donating your used consumer electronics. Your used item(s) may be tax deductible and will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations. 100% of the proceeds will help fund NHS Arts Education Scholarships and Teacher Grants.

We are currently collecting:
• Cell Phones
• Laptop Computers
• Inkjet Cartridges
• MP3 Players
• Digital Cameras
• Digital Video Cameras
• Handheld Game Systems
• GPS Devices
• Radar Detectors
• Electronic Book Readers

Please drop off any items you would like to recycle at the football game tonite. [The company we're working with does not want power supplies.]  We'll have a collection box at the Band Booster tent. We'll also have additional collection boxes out and about in the coming weeks.

We greatly appreciate your support!

Remember, we'll be collecting your old electronics tomorrow night at the NHS Football game. A friend said I should mention that the cell phones, cameras, etc DO NOT have to be in working order. The recycling company will still pay us. So clean all those old phones that weigh 3 or 4 pounds (remember those?!) out of the back of your closet and drop them off!  We appreciate your efforts to support arts education in Chatham County Schools.

Just a reminder that we'll be collecting your recyclables several times this week
  • at Open House on Tuesday
  • on Wednesday & Friday during student drop-off
  • at Friday's football game

Does this include printer/fax/copier combo machines?  Or are those too big?

Sorry. The largest items the recycling company takes are laptops.

We've been collecting at school this week and will be at the ballgame tonite and hope to mail our first items in next week.  I'll have additional bins downtown next week.  Please tell friends and neighbors. We hope the whole community will participate.

Thanks much for supporting arts ed and National Arts in Education Week!
