Chargers win Home Opener! - Northwood prevails over Western Harnett  The crowd at Friday's contest between the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) and the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), witnessed Northwood's squad defeat Western Harnett 23-13. The Chargers are now 1-1. They host Jordan-Matthews for a non-league contest on Friday, September 3. Northwood will encounter a Jets squad coming off a 62-14 non-league win over Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Jets record stands at 2-0. |

I wasn't at this game but heard I missed a good one. Also heard I missed the first and possibly last
show by the newly formed dance team. Seems their butt shaking and grinding didn't set too well
with the principal or some of the parents. Anyone else see the show?

Although the girls do need a little more practice, I didn't see much difference than you would see with a college dance team.  |
