What was he before he Joined rev wright's church?
And there's the problem... he refuses to disclose anything concrete about his past. If he has nothing to hide and is telling the truth, he should have no problem in being more forthcoming. By not being direct and honest, he's leaving room for people to create their own "facts."

So people wouldn't be wrong then is calling him a Muslim when he won't disclose the facts, with proof of course.
Why would he hide his being a Christian?

Yes they would be/ are wrong. Neither side can make definitive claims one way or the other without proof. That's why I put "fact" in quotes and said they make them up themselves. It's wrong for him to not be open and honest, but it's equally wrong for people to perpetuate possibilities as truth.

That's a question for him to answer. And since he's not eager to discuss this issue, people will be left to speculate and create their own reality of what he is or isn't when it comes to his religion.
My position is... I care more about him running this country into a brick wall at warp 10 and being so nonchalant about it than I do about who he prays to.

Just so you know I don't care either. Right now it looks like he's a warp 8 and picking up speed.

Ann Coulter agrees:
from the article:
The nonsense about President Obama being a Muslim has got to stop. I rise to defend him from this absurd accusation by pointing out that he is obviously an atheist.

Obama is the one who wants the world to believe he is a Muslim .He himself is the one misleading the world that he is Muslim .You only have to look at his actions .Obama has labeled himself Muslim. Not the American people .
It is also Obama who said the best sound he has ever heard on earth was the horns are bells that sound calling Muslims to prayer.
The American people did not say these things Obama did . Why is Obama everyday or so letting out small remarks to make the Muslims believe he is one of them and then denies he ever made those comments . He continues to give out conflicting answers .
How does liking the sound of horns and bells equate claiming to be a Muslim?

On Tuesday nights speech about Iraq at the end he looked right into the camera and said " God bless America, and God bless our troops"
I guess he was stating he was Christian. The only thing I found amusing is that Democrats are largely for seperation of church and state and their leader brings God into government. I wonder where the protest is?

When it comes down to it, his faith - or lack of faith - is between him and God.
It's sad to see other Christians judging him and pretending to know the will of God.
Is he allowed to have questions about his faith, especially due to his upbringing? Or is it only acceptable that he give a rock solid answer about exactly what he believes, when his belief was confirmed by others, and how it can be documented by forms?

Oh I know.. that is what I am saying , who cares. I dropped the fire and brimstone Catholicism I grew up on for Episcopalian. Learned not to fear God and that I was going to hell for everything.

I am a Christian and don't go to church either. I got tired of them being a business and telling you how much you must give plus there is too much politics and too many cliques.
Is Obama a Christian? I don't know if he is or not but I will assume he is until I see otherwise.

That is what I love about the Episcopals. They do not demand money. It is pass around the plate and if you can give great, if not no big deal. They do tons of fundraisers and quite well for themselves.
