So... our EDC and CC's feel as though they should be targeting certain industries, though in the time-tested manner of the EDC, their website about their targets says:
Page not found
The requested page could not be found.

(see http://www.chathamedc.org/business-climate/target-industries/clusters)

(why doesn't this surprise me?)

Regardless, they apparently know what kind of businesses should be in Chatham.  What do you Chatlister's think?

You left out a category...sleeping "giant", which it has been for decades. (Put all their "eggs" Wink in one industry and it flew the coup.

So far, the leaders are:

Heavy Manufacturers, Light Manufacturers, Creative Firms, and High Tech with Pharmaceuticals, and chain and independent restaurants coming in close behind.

The Pharama, High Tech, and Creative Firms all fit within the CC's "Goals" for targeted industries... but they probably shudder at all of that manufacturing and Fat-enhancing restaurants.

Sorry to chime in late, but one category that might be missing is related to the big chain stores, such as a distribution center.  Perhaps that is covered in the Business services category.
