The Chatham County Board of Education will hold a special session via teleconference on Wednesday, January 25, at 4:00 PM in the central office board room for the purpose of approving the school and school district Mission, Vision and Core Beliefs statements.

The Chatham County Board of Education will hear a presentation by the Educational Leadership doctoral students from UNC-Chapel Hill on Wednesday, January 25, at 4:30 PM in the central office board room.

I don't understand why things like this (and the Apple contract last month) have to occur at special meetings, instead of at a regularly scheduled meeting, in the evening when it is easier for the public to attend.

I won't be able to attend - I can't take off work - so I hope one of you can and report back on what happened.
