Some kids (and adults) don't have internet access at home. A good library will also be a plus in many other ways.
Thinking a bit more about this thread, isn't it funny that when it's a seller's market, there's evidently no problem and we should leave the free market alone. However, now that it is shifting to a buyer's market there's suddenly a big problem to fix? Beachbum now wants to blame the local government and ask them to 'fix the problem' - to make it a seller's market again. Interesting, as that would be a very socialist position.

Also interesting, in that many realtors & builders said that they were against the LTT because it would stop lower income folks from being able to buy a home. Now that the market is shifting towards making those same homes more affordable than ever, with a much, much higher % savings for those same buyers, the BOC is anti-growth? Seems like a little cooling off in the real estate market will make ALL new homes substantially cheaper, which is the best thing those folks seeking new homes could hope for.
Remeber this gem from the "It's a Bad Idea" folks - "The availability of quality affordable housing is a very important factor for business recruitment." So wouldn't a lower cost of new and existing housing make our area more attractive for industrial recruitment? Which is it Mr. Bum?
