I really want to get my son involved in some activities with other children.  He is 3 years old and will be 4 in September.  I was wondering if anyone knew of any fun activities in Chatham over the summer for this age as well as throughout the rest of the year.  I would love to get him enrolled in some sort of sports (t-ball, soccer, etc), but I'm pretty sure I can't do that until he's 4.  Any information anyone could provide on sports for young children would be great also!

Thanks!

Try the Chatham YMCA at www.chcymca.org - 919-545-9622.  They offer Soccer, T-Ball and Basketball for children, starting at 3yrs. old.  I know that T-Ball starts this Saturday, but if you call the office, I don't think they'd have a problem registering your son. It's $50 (might be a $10 late registration fee) and it runs from  June 7th - July 26th.  Best wishes for a fun and safe summer!

It never hurts to call and ask for info about adult sports if you want them.  If they get a lot of calls they know the interest is there and they may try to begin offering some.

they have a relationship with the CHCYMCA. it is a little cheaper  to join in Chatham, but you can use the CH facility and it is full time sports for adults.
