Can you elaborate on this please?
the weekend of the 7th, several people i know reported meeting "Wolf" near the island; he said he lived on the island with his son "Bear". he told several people that if they howled, he would come pick them up and take them to the island. others witnessed some teenagers doing just that and being transported across the river. i know someone's canoe was stolen, and livestock and chickens have been disappearing. someone confirmed their presence with the sheriff's dept, who were waiting for enough manpower, daylight hours, etc to safely cross the river and investigate. Wow! Do they know anything about the guy? |

I've heard the teens talk about him. I think he's a escentric vagrant. But I doubt that's what the incident was about today, to many rescue and only a few law enforcement

Don't know about a '72' but I think a '10-72' means a gun is involved. Not trying to start rumors though.

I was reading this thread to my husband Keith and he questioned me on why the sheriffs department was going to investigate an island on the Haw....it seems to him and myself that the islands belong to no one and staying here would not be breaking any laws.....just because some chicken and livestock have disappeared does not mean the so called gypsies took them...we have been talking about the inflix of the coyote in the area....and this would be a feast for those guys.....now the canoe....is anyones guess as to what happened ...maybe thats what "wolf" uses to pick the teenagers up with!!!!  |

But I am concerned about what goes on when the Pirate Gypsies take the teens to the island. Are the PG's giving the kids alcohol and/or stronger stuff? Lots more questions. But it's really VERY creepy.
