shasta daisy, cone flower and one I  don't know the name of.

but is orange pink, and blooms all summer. next year, it should be established. droughts make it hard.

Couldn't ask for a more excellent rain, nice and slow to allowing it to soak into the earth and no run off Cheer

Hurricane Gustav is getting more impressive as a cat 1 with winds of 90 mph and expected to get stronger if misses Cuba.  I guess they're saying since it is a smaller hurricane in size, it will only strike smaller region of land, down side it these small ones can grow faster in intensity rapidly.

Once again, the "lines" severed by the "progress" in the area ATT etc. in action I suppose with the new city ob BC, so I have been disconnected. (Maybe some good new to you and me in some ways!). But NOT  nearly enough rain at my house yet. Look forward to what tomorrow will bring. I am parched, did not benefit from the earlier scattered storms.
