Wake County Cuts Out of State Travel

Wake County Board of Education has cut all out of state travel from their budget in order to save money for the classroom.


Hmmmm.....hint, hint Chatham County BOE???

Our BOE does not take hints very well.  They don't take suggestions very well either.  I seem to recall that cutting travel was already discussed and thrown out along with the board member who brought it up.

I know how Gerald feels. 

I truly think this issue needs to be revisited and that all out of state travel should be canceled.

How about "moving" that money into the buy a bus for North Chatham column?
