I just wanted to say that one of the nice parts about working the polls is getting to know folks whom you may not otherwise have a chance to interact with.  Although we were supporting different candidates, I enjoyed the give and take with Mia Munn, her family and friends.  They worked very hard.

It was nice to meet Gene's son campaigning with his dad and I felt blessed to meet all of the Rubinas family.

Good luck to all and I hope all of the candidates for school board stay involved and help make our schools better for the future.  Despite our differences we have a lot more in common.

Best Regards,

Mayor Randy Voller

Thanks, Randy. Campaigning was long, but I got to meet a lot of great people and have some wonderful conversations. I'm committed to staying involved, and the Raising Achievement/Closing the Gap Task Force is going to be my focus - do you want to help us (or can you suggest someone from the town to represent Pittsboro on the Task Force)?
